Paul talks about them dying to the Law and marrying Christ, but then goes back to talk about their living in the flesh in verse 5 on until finally coming to Christ and in ch. 8 walking in the spirit and not in the flesh. He mentions in verse 1 and 13 that if you live after the flesh you (Christian Brethren) will die, but if you live after the spirit you will live.
