I'll say one thing for the Japanese - their vending machines are awesome! And they are everywhere! I saw one at a roadside cemetery, for example. Anyway, they have tremendous variety, no two are the same, and they are pretty expensive (in this machine a 16 oz. Coke is about $1.50).
